    Weight gain while on Plaquenil? lupus If you go to or rxlist.com, neither of them list weight gain as a side effect, while they both list "nausea, vomiting, stomach pain; loss of appetite, weight loss" as side effects. During trials, if any adverse event read possible side effect occurs, and the company can't prove it wasn't the drug, it goes on the list as a side effect.
