    Rash after plaquenil

So far from the other posts it may seems that Plaquenil may be somehow associated with skin rash that looks like small hives and patchy itchiness. If anyone has any comments or had experienced anything similar, I would be very happy to hear I got this after about 5 weeks, mine was a blistery rash and it was only on my shoulders, upper chest and upper back. My doctor said it was photodermatitis and caused from a sensitivity to the sun caused by the plaquenil. If the rash goes it would tend to indicate that it is caused by the Plaquenil. But they might never know. The longer you keep taking it the worse it will get and the longer for it to go.

For example, it may be combined with an antibiotic to treat chronic Q-fever, which humans usually catch from farm animals or raw milk. Plaquenil is used to treat other types of infections too.
